Blueberry Farm has been a grassland farm operating within the habitat scheme for the last 25 years. This scheme was terminated in September 2016. The farm is now to be partially cropped, so returning to a productive unit, but retaining large areas of grassland  as well as headland margins around the fields, hedges left thick and wild on the boundaries to retain wildlife, some new areas of transplanted oak woodland and two large ponds creating a haven for waterfowl, fish and insects. The Hawk and Owl Trust have worked extensively over this period to enhance the area for all kinds of wildlife creating a fascinating variety to experience.  Bee hives have recently been reintroduced to the farm in a secluded remote corner so no fear of disturbing them. This is a wonderfully quiet, private environment to visit giving groups an extensive and unique area to get involved in activities and to take some time out to explore the area and appreciate the amazing views.

Mountain biking around the farm and on the extensive bridleways as well as the McMillan, Midshires and Brampton Ways adjoining the farm, bring your own bikes, shed provided.

Hiking,  with huge swathes of open countryside as well as an extensive network of secluded footpaths and bridleways linking to the  Mc Millan, Midshires and Brampton Ways,  just a field away, there's a lot to see, do and explore! The nature/treasure trail is a great way to discover the farm. As this was a Hawk and Owl Trust project there is an abundance of bird and wildlife to be seen.

Fishing on site or at Pitsford Water is a 10 minute drive, perfect for those who may want a fishing experience.

Canoeing, we have a fleet of 7 open canoes available that can be used on the lake, or on the extensive canal system nearby, Welford or Foxton being great locations, again, by prior arrangement please.

Nature/Adventure trail, this is a bit like a treasure hunt....around the farm we have 21 locations...the idea is to find your way around these  using a simple map, looking at the wildlife picture and writing down what you think it is, seeing some beautiful secret places on the way, and leave some treasures for others to find if you like. When you get back to the central hub check the wall chart to see how many you knew.  A great way to learn about the wild animals and birds you may see on your travels and explore the 175 acre farm.

Lamport Hall, Kelmarsh Hall, Cottesbrooke Hall are all within walking distance and the site of the Battle of Naseby 1645 and Brixworth church, the largest Saxon church in England are both a 10 minute drive away.

Both the Swan at Lamport and the Stag at Maidwell are about a 25 minute walk and have a garden, restaurant and bar facilities.
